As we bring our summer tour to a close, we have finally come full circle. From San Diego to Monterey, we have been privileged to bring our music to audiences along the coast of California. Thank you everyone for your support and kind words throughout this tour!
We began and ended our tour in La Jolla with free concerts for community members, family and friends. We not only gained valuable performance experience but also lessons on entrepreneurship and self-promotion. We have learned that the Internet is a valuable resource in this regard, and will strive to create a stronger digital presence via Facebook and our website.
Though the tour has ended, you can still catch our performances at Oyster Bay Music Festival on Oyster Bay, New York. The festival is centered around chamber music and lasts from July 23-30. A unique aspect of this festival is its outreach-centered approach. If you're in the area and would like to hear some great chamber music, come check out one of Oyster Bay's many concerts! Schedule can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/OysterBayMusicFestival/
Thanks again for a wonderful summer.
On Friday July 14th, we had the wonderful opportunity to perform for the Carmel Guitar Society’s Benefit Concert. Founded in 1961, the Guitar Society’s mission is to promote classical guitar music through education, recitals, and gatherings. The Society hosts many notable performers every year, and we are honored to have performed at this venue. Read more about the CGS on Facebook or on their website: https://www.carmelguitarsociety.org/
An important component of chamber music is the audience. The audience at Carmel was one of the best we have ever played for. Everyone was engaged, enthusiastic, and eager to listen and learn about the music. We can’t thank everyone enough for providing such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It truly is inspiring to play in such a beautiful environment, and the supportive words that we received after the concert meant the world to us. We hope to play again for CGS!
